I’ll try to be vague but no promises.
So it’s one thing if you haven’t read a story with this kind of trope before. It’s the kind of thing that makes you go “ohhhhh my god I get it now.” And credit where credit is due, the stories with this trope usually do it for the seme, not the uke, so it felt fresh here. But it just dropped the ball so damn hard towards the end it was laughable. I get that Cheonghyeon barely understands his own feelings but like he KNOWS EVERYTHING and still gives his all to Taehwa. And Taehwa goes insane at the slightest hint of rejection so it’s like he could fall right back into his old habits. There’s no rhyme or reason for why he’s so different, and he never actually apologized last time either. If you thought the trope in this was neat, go find a story that does it better (spoiler alert obviously, but Cozy Obsession and Beyond the Memories).
