imo the characters just aren't acting like themselves as before the original story concluded. i mean yes they can subject to change in behaviors when faced with challenges and such but back then, haebom didn't act like someone who would just ghost and isolate himself from taesung (i mean wasn't taesung one of his biggest emotional supports?) when he was having trouble/being threatened. also i understand taesung's frustration because of this, however in the inital plot, i don't think he would ever coerce haebom. if I'm not mistaken even with problems and how obsessive he is, he was someone who would put haebom first before his own desires (though my memory is kinda hazy so idk if this is accurate or not)
that's just my input, i see the author's vision with the story seeing as taesung's family wasn't really elaborated back then and now they are facing issues with being accepted by the grandfather BUT the execution is just not it (hopefully the author can redeem themselves in the later chapters cause atp, it just looks like your cliche plot where the character runs away because it's "what's best" for their partner

i haven't read this in a while, and i plan not to after reading the comments. but I'm curious, what happened to the story that made a lot of y'all dissatisfied—disappointed—sad or whatever y'all are feeling. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
