The MC calls her “kid,” and she calls him “mister,” yet the story still tries to force a romance between them. It feels so out of place that it ends up ruining the whole experience for me.
I honestly could’ve enjoyed the story if that forced romance wasn’t there, it just takes away from everything else.
If the romance part is the only thing that you find repulsive, you should keep reading (the novel or this),there's actually a reason behind that seemingly forced romance.
