I honestly agree lmao but still its slightly different because pheromones play a big role when "those" things happens but I also agree that ppl finding out ur an omega is a death sentence

It’s more like someone sees you’re intersex and then they like the smell of your perfume and attack you claiming your perfume bewitched them. Technically, humans already have pheromones. We just can’t smell it. And if we could smell pheromones, we wouldn’t just be able to smell the sex ones. The omegaverse is definitely weird for just choosing the sex ones and only the sex ones. It also treats us the same as cats and dogs which is really weird considering humans menstruate every month so that would put us in “oestrus” every month from the 10th day of our cycle to the 18th (give or take a few days). Also it would mean that male omegas menstruate since the whole purpose of menstruation is to clear the egg from the womb to prepare for a new egg to be placed there during ovulation. I just want a realistic omegaverse :(( theyre really weird about making it as fantasy magic as possible while making sure that any “female” traited people (people with a womb) get SA because misogyny.

Now that you mentioned it I haven't seen an omegaverse where the omega has a menstrual cycle, omega is basically female features (being able to give birth) so that would mean they should be experiencing what females experience

True! I can't remember any manga in that the omega has it's period! They just have the heat but that's only sexual. But to be able to get pregnant you need a period so they would need to shit blood once a month XD

And as far as I know, people have pheromones and even they don't smell them they recognize if someone starts to emit more.
But still even someone has a lot of pheromones and take perfume with them no one would use that as an excuse for rape! It's the same Logik like "she wanted to get rape, why else would she wear a skirt!?" I mean in India as a woman you're partly guilty of you get raped and you wear jeans. I mean it's so totally sure that no men can spot seeing you as a sexual object if your wearing the incredible sexy clothing: a jeans -_- (sarcasm)

Honestly the whole omegaverse is medically and biologically weird. Within 50 years, we would have figured out how to tell the secondary sex of a baby in womb like we did for the primary sex of a baby. It’s based on the chromosomes you got so they’d just look at those or however they tell the sex before you can see the babies genitals. I do hope it eventually gets more realistic but considering that Japan is only good at drawing biology and not about factoring in biology (especially female characters), I don’t think we will see much from them at all. It just feels bad to me cause it kinda dismisses all the achievements we made as humans in medical technology :((

It is your stink. Pheromones are strongest at your neck, armpits and butt. That’s why cats and dogs sniff each other there or bury themselves in our armpits. They can smell our pheromones. The densest smells will hold the most pheromone information for them (including our current mood and our health status) so you aren’t wrong. You can be attracted to someone’s pheromones (when their bare skin smells nice to you but you have no idea why) but it’s not a conscious thing. It’s like when mothers love the smell of their fresh out of the womb babies. They like that smell because pheromones. It’s there to prevent mothers from abandoning children because when we smell pheromones we like, we want to be near it to smell more. That’s how those work. Not much is researched on human pheromones but I do have a fascination with them. Btw the strongest and densest pheromone shower my cat has ever give me was anal gland juice and yes, it looks and smells exactly like you think it would and yes, it absolutely does stick to your skin/clothes.
