Maybe this is just me, but I hope you read this and let me know your thoughts, guys, SINCE WE ALL HAVE DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES too. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
No i completely agree with u i also got spoiled and my first thought was “that’s it..?” Like u were saying about the tension they had and for what? It just seems wasteful to end it this early. I was expecting at least 30 more chapters if not 40 I feel there was a lot to expand especially with the whole caterpillar and grasshopper metaphor. If it was me writing it I would have went for the route of him being indecisive of what he rlly wanted to do with her since this is the first time he’s been obsessed with an actual breathing human being. I would assume he would be a little confused/conflicted because he normal TAKES lives and then for the fl side her actions against him should have been calculated but slow like she’s plotting to him him the entire time then at some point nearing the end she successfully ends his life but only because he let her. If he was gonna “lose” or go out in anyway why not go by the hands of somebody he “loved” He had nothing to go back to anyway he’s wanted he’d rather die by the hands of her then go to prison. That’s my take or how I feel it should have went.
I got spoiled about the ending from a post, so maybe that also affected my expectations. But now that I’ve read up to Chap 65 here, the tension keeps building every chap, and knowing Chap 6* is already the end makes me feel like the pacing might be rushed. I wasn’t expecting any romance since it fits the genre, and the ending isn’t bad or anything… but after all that buildup, I just feel like they could’ve done more or made it hit harder.
