I think the only way to “enjoy” this story is to accept that the ml is fucked up and move on. People need to stop defending him and try to make them a wholesome couple. There is nothing defendable about his actions and that’s “okay” if that’s how the author wants to write their story. But STOP DEFENDING HIM!! He IS toxic and manipulative even if he “doesn’t mean it”. The mc has nothing to do with the way the ml is acting. Mc is the real victim from the start
