I want them to end up together but I desperately want MC knowing he’s in love with ML and knowing at the same time that he can’t be with ML because ML will “never be over his ex.” And then they have a phase where they’re “friends” but MC is still obviously in love and eventually ML gets over his ex
Basically I don’t want ML and MC to get together too easily while ML is so obviously still not over his ex but gets with MC because he has his heart.
I want him to like MC because he likes MC
