i don't know what other people are on about, maybe TL was too confusing, but yes it's basically ml's house. at least used to be, then he gifted it to his younger brother, who happens to be mc's friend which is why mc was invited there in the first place.
and ml ended up there bc he wanted to get back the rest of his stuff from his room and gym.....
but to be fair, it didn't look like ml was kicked out?? wasn't he the one who decided to leave and isolate bc he didn't want to make omega (=vulnerable person, in this setting) mc uncomfortable? + he wanted to make sure nothing happens since he's unstable and off his meds. mc actually felt sorry for being uncomfortable and tried to bring him back. he never explicitly asked him to leave, as i remember

sure love!! tbh storytelling IS messy, add questionable TL on top and yeah the plot can get confusing.
and i was actually kinda surprised by the other responses.... it's not like it's my first day on the internet, but the way people are so arrogantly confident (rude even) while spreading misinformation is still astonishing sometimes
