It’s not uncommon in my culture to marry your distant cousin because we have a common last name and it genuinely feels like all of us are related (big families) so marrying your 3rd or 4th cousin is like meh to me. Dating your 1st uncle who is your mother’s younger brother is CRAZY! Like actually insane. Instead of a dating pool, homeboy went for a dating puddle wtf?!? If it was like some distant uncle and he had no actual blood ties at that point or uncle was married into the family or something then I’d be fine with no problems but I can’t pretend I don’t know what I know ╥﹏╥
