On one hand, yes, OG!Yise is being an absolute ass. On the other hand, dude isn't exactly in the best condition, and CLEARLY, unlike the story "The One Within The Villainess", doesn't get to see the protagonist work really hard for OG!Yise to succeed, and therefore regards him as a bad guy. So either he is acting just like usual... OR! He is being an ass OUT OF SPITE
Also! MC DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG. Did he ask for this? No. Did he try his best to improve his life and achieve OG!Yise's dreams? YES! SO WHY IS IT THAT PEOPLE ARE PICKING SIDES?!
I hate that this situation is happening and will probably skip this arc BUT I don't hate OG!Yise, and logically wise, there is no reason to! Because that is his character! Sure, some people change when they get what they want, but others DON'T!
