Guys, I have a theory. (I might delete it later) but here’s my theory:
I think the plan to take down Guwon actually works, but it ends up putting the townspeople in danger. In chapter 14, Jinwoo has that dream where the townspeople say, “Heo Jinwoo. this is all your fault, you did this, in the end, we all died because of you.” They basically blame him. Then on chapter 28, Kang Gyeongha says, “But the real issue is the hounds. Even if we manage to take Guwon Down, we’d still have to fight them…And If that happens, I don’t think most of the townspeople would survive.” So maybe this is foreshadowing that the plan will succeed in taking down Guwon, but it backfires because the hounds find out about it. That leads to the townspeople dying. But I also think the hounds might find out about this plan through Jinwoo joining the supply team. Basically, one of the hounds picks up on why Jinwoo joined. And I also don’t believe Guwon dies, someone captures him or lock him up somewhere.
