+ want to add that i think its funny how the second they introduced her "family" I thought they'd actually be useful for something but no they couldn't even help her escape she had to scheme herself like wow the dad really is a useless bum huh??? What good is he even for failed her all throughout her childhood and all the way to adulthood way to go man
I have a huge bias against neglectful dads in manwha I think bc of the way narratives often frame them as "pitiful" like "aww he tried soooooo hard to be there for her!!! :( he was just so so so helpless!!!" Like there aren't that many things in these stories more aggravating than a "pitiful" grown ass man you are supposed to feel "sorry" for being shoved in your face idk what it is about this whole family that I find VERY unlikeable same with the ML tbh I did like the FL at the start but not even she is enough for me to tolerate all these annoying bugs surrounding her
