It's a bit weird because the title seems to refer to the ml as a representation of Sisyphus, since the ml has "hounds". But from my perspective, maybe since Sisyphus was such a master manipulator, like our mc, perhaps later on the mc will somehow change the situation of being under control of the hounds and in that aspect be known as the hounds of Sisyphus? Not sure yet.
I do think Sisyphus is supposed to represent the mc and Thanatos (death) guwon, in a sense that in the og story Sisyphus was a cunning character who chained and tricked Death twice to avoid dying, ultimately completely changing the "natural order" of every one's lives (like how the mc, Jinwoo, keeps breaking the rules. And eventually might end up changing the order of things by tricking guwon, like thanatos being tricked just less romantically lol.)
Definitely don't think the author is going to adapt this into a moral in her story. Especially since a lot isn't similar and it can't get that deep lol.
But it might be a hint from her on how this story might end (Jinwoo, despite all his efforts to get revenge or survive, might backfire into a endless loop of tragedy; like being with the man, who is a un-empathetic murderer and whom might've killed his father, forever. Or despite all his efforts to get revenge and free everyone will still remain in the same position.)

I’ve been trying to figure out how the story connects to the myth. Like is a certain character suppose to represent Sisyphus? Or is the story more about the morals? Tho my personal interpretation of Sisyphus is way different from what I’ve gathered so far lol.
Any history/philosophy/Greek people here to offer helpful context? Much appreciated!
