I'm pretty sure it's based on Greece and Greek culture, the architecture and those olive trees are the biggest hint.

Wait the way theyve presented the culture from the sea island (forgot the name but it brgins with T? Trovan?) Without it being weird or overly done or poorly executed the way i see stuff like that always happening in manhwas. Mayne cause it seems derived from a real life source? Correct me if im wrong but it seems inspired or directly drawn from green culture and perhaps because of the tracking of it, it feels more real to me and the differnece betwen Trovan(?) Ans tje empire feel SIGNIFICANT.
Usually i see culture differences, in manhwas, between two different narions not being really good? Like theyll be two different nations but everything feels the same but witj a different font.
Im.super happy to see the actual taste of the two places FEELS different. Like its so refreshing and i loved seeing differences in ourfits that still follow a specific trend inspired by greek or just following a set designed culture for Trovan.!! Im a sucker for world building as you can see and an even greater sucker for writing different nations and cultures in a way that feels real and beautiful

And seeing Alice not lose her culture just cause shes an empress of the empire now!! Yes!!! Too many webtoons / manhwas will have the empress give up her culture to.fit in??? Or use the cukture as a sheild and then critice the current empire theyre living in ?? (This often happens when a fl comes from a west derived based empire to an eastern inspired empire, AKA racism. Booo.)
But seeing Alice get a trendy dress from her homeland like made me so happy! No washing away her culture and no racist archetypes of using one culture to insult tje other / labelling one culture as pure ect
Obv theres racism in the story, especially against the Trovannes... (?) People...? (Mind my spelling) But the story isnt racist!
