i lowkey do wonder if taeui just saw xinlu as a small twink at the start through rose tinted glasses or he genuinely WAS small, i’m pretty sure even Ilay pointed out how much xinlu grew in the novel during the beach scene too no? Either way i’m pretty he WAS a twink, Taeui wouldn’t have messed with him in the first place otherwise lol. The way he dropped him immediately after finding out he’s a top, lol at least xinlu has yuri now
