Prime number is number that cannot be devide by other number except the number itself and 1. Simple example like 7 that cannot be devide by other number and only can get from 7×1. Factoring is like collecting the number that can be devide by the number itself. For example number 20, it can be made by 2×10 or 4×5 or 20×1. So the factor of 20 will be 1,2,4,5,10. In the case of prime number, the factor will have 1 and the number itself, so no matter how he thinks, he will not get the other answer. He not giving up is probably bcs the larger the number is usually many number can get from factoring but the number is so unique. So yeah, the number save him

    For Heegeon’s birthday 19.951.021 (October 21st, 1995).
That number only has two factors: 1 and 19.951.021 u can only divide it by 1 and 19.951.021 in other words, 1 × 19.951.021 & vice versa.

u might be wondering what’s so special abt that. Well, for math nerds like us and Sahan.. the fact that an ENTIRE 8 DIGIT number only has TWO FACTORS is pretty cool y'know

    But for Sahan’s birthday, it’s totally different: 19.851.021 (October 21st, 1985).
That’s NOT a prime number because it has MORE THAN TWO factors (not just 1 and itself).
You can get that number by multiplying things like 6.617.007 × 3, 73.251 × 271, and many more.

Because it’s not a prime number, Sahan breaks it down into a product of prime numbers.
    First, he multiplies 3 (a prime number) by itself three times: 3 × 3 × 3 = 27.
Then he multiplies 27 by 271 (another prime number): 27 × 271 = 7.317. After that, he multiplies 7.317 by 2.713 (also a prime number) and there you have it: 19.851.021.

Sahan is so cool because he can tell whether a number is prime or not, and he can use prime numbers to build his target number. He does all of this IN HIS HEAD, no calculator, no scratch paper. He knows his prime numbers and is insanely good at math. Ugh, SO COOL.

You couldnt have explained it better! Its so meaningful since its SO hard to find a prime numbers for bigger numbers specially 8 digit numbers, and Heegeon's bday was EXACTLY one of them its fucking fate. And to better picture how hard it is to do number factoring one of the biggest encryption systems basically used to keep all our info safe on the internet, bank systems, basically everything, which is RSA is based on big numbers factorisation!!! So yeah its hella hard!!!!

I completely forgot to reply on here but thank you guys for explaining it's so lovely to see you guys get so excited and I can't grasp the way yalls can because numbers fly over my head but i really appreciate the explanations
