yeah I was waiting for them to both die tragically together. really strange decision to have them get together in the end since they've spent most of their lives apart and alone. it feels like a waste and very unsatisfactory.
What do you mean she’s still alive??? It removes the whole tragedy/emotional impact of the ending. I hate when authors try to like “trick readers” out of an easy ending, but sometimes the most easiest and simple endings, are the most effective. She should’ve stayed dead.
