Plenty of readers enjoy it and don’t need to read only stories that are 100% realistic in every aspect just to “educate themselves,” you bunch of idiots. That said, it’s not even the case with this story, which is adorable, cute, and even rather cozy. When I think about how many works that romanticize rape get a free pass, any sense of consistency just disappears.
Is it surprising that the hate comes only from Westerners, and specifically Americans? Maybe it’s time to stop trying to colonize other people’s cultures to reshape them according to your messed-up ideals (just look at the state of your country), and instead put that energy into real causes.
