i think Toono's just embarrassed and a bit confused trying to figure out his feelings
Itome/Akemi just have issues they need to figure out
It's a little painful to see Itome as a sort of replacement for Akemi, and obviously Itome already realized that.
Perhaps because of the promise to be "best friends forever," Itome avoided confessing and being completely honest about his feelings to Akemi.
But the sad part is waiting for updates to see how all this unfolds

It's a little suffocating to see Itome go through so much because of Akemi's selfishness.
At least Yuri and Jimmy have become inseparable lovebirds.
