Dang, so I‘m the only who thinks the situation is more complicated than just „Akemi bad guy“ ? If there’s one thing I know about my goat Ogeretsu‘s writing it‘s that she would never write her main characters as one dimensional as this. (I just came back from reading her other mangas) Notice how Akemi said „you don’t need to feel bad for me anymore“ and the flashback of them actually being best friends in the beginning? My guess is that Akemi probably thinks Itome just went out with him to make him feel better Abt his brother but this ended up hurting him more in the long run, probably not fully realising that Itome actually loves him now. Don’t think it’s fair to say Akemi should die when we don’t know the full perspectives yet
