So in my understanding, ML knows MCs family weak points and why they so badly want political marriage and he's going to exploit that so he can ask for MCs hand in marriage. His logic is that if you want political power then I have that so let me marry your grandson type shi
For the MC his problem is MLs fated pair (MCs fated pair is the maid at the first chapter so he doesn't have this problem) so MC got that omega fated pair to keep away from the ML like just deport it from another country and stuff without the ML knowing
