I’ve been here since the beginning. This is the only story I’ve been actively commenting on, since it started… it was such a great ride. I loved every panel, every dialogue, every twist and turn of this story. I loved Brett and Hayden. I loved how expressive the sex was. I loved how each character had their own complexities and it made you think for a second. I love everything about it and I think this story has a special place in my heart. Now to the ending…. I feel a little robbed to be fair. It was a lot more rushed than what I expected. To be honest I don’t even remember Brett’s brother’s marriage and stuff. Guess I need to reread. The last few chapters, while pretty much maintained the tension, felt a little flat. I am not saying i didn’t like it, but I also didn’t not dislike it. I feel a bit unsatisfied. The last chapter was pretty smooth, but I feel we should have a little more insight to them. A bit more to the post-rut clarity, a little better conclusion to the chasing arc….. I hope we get side stories.
Again, despite that, a 10/10 in my book. Or maybe I’m just emotionally attached.
