let's be real, that is nothing compared to what garam went through and garam never asked for all that , they could have just been a normal couple, but he has to make it extra get a house , use up all his parents money because of which garam got outed to his parents, and garam had to get an earful from jayheok's parents which he didn't deserve
He definitely should've talked to Garam more, but he didn't do those things for nothing. He got the apartment because Garam wanted to move out of the dorms and was lacking in funds to support his school work. He wouldn't have accepted Jaehyuk's help, so he lied that it was a friend's place. Jaehyuk started working diligently at his parent's restaurant again in order to get in their good graces. I doubt he ever predicted that any of that would've hurt Garam. Just like Garam never would've predicted going to his friend's party would result in his ex scarring Jaehyuk's face. Unfortunate things happen, but I didn't read any ill intentions on Garam or Jaehyuk's sides.
I'm not saying Jaehyuk is perfect, but he's not a monster either. He's been trying very hard to fight for a relationship where only 1 person is giving it their all. That can be really emotionally draining and lonely, so his frustration is valid. Garam has been treating this like a brief love affair that is sure to end someday--that stems from his trauma, which is also valid, but it's further destabilizing the relationship. At the end of the day, the person holding the keys determines if we keep the car running. That person is Garam, and he's choosing to leave the car in park. Garam is the problem in this moment but not the villain. I'd argue they both deserve equal parts grace and criticism.
valid points, but I think jayheok is bit too insensitive when it comes to garam's past, I don't think he has spent enough time understanding what means to be gay and outed as a kid in school and watching your parents being disappointed in you, also I don't think garam treated this relationship as brief , because he got a ring for his bf, but unfortunately he was hit with brick of reality when he met jayheok's parents and this is where he realized how fragile gay relationships are and he recalled his past, yes jayheok has been faithful but does it matter when there is a fear you can't get over that nothing lasts forever, That's why I think he should go to therapy and learn POV of garam and calm down , like why is he always shouting at garam .

Fuck you man, just because you fell in love with a gay man, doesn't mean he has to come out of closet for you, you are rich so you can afford to be frivolous, expecting the same from garam, when he witnessed your parents being homophobic is just plain selfish, eat rocks for all I care (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
