Whose side are you on?

So, I booked a holiday with some of my friends, in total there’s 5 of us. We rented a house and that house has 3 rooms - they’re all pretty cute but there’s one that’s clearly nicer and larger.
Now, during the process of booking the place this two girls (I’m going to call them Anna and Bella) call dibs on the largest room. Me and the other two friends (I’m going to call them Gene and Jane) immediately complained how it’s not fair how they decided that the largest room is going to be there’s before anyone was actually “prepared” or before the place was even rented. so Gene suggests we spin the wheel - whoever it lands on will get the room and whoever they are sharing the rooms with will also stay there.
That’s clearly the best idea to come to a fair decision but Anna and Bella are arguing against it, saying how they called dibs on it first and how that makes it their room but they later agreed to spin the wheel.
The wheel lands on my name, meaning me and Gene will therefore stay in the largest room, but now Anna and Bella are arguing saying that because we didn’t put any “effort” in looking for the place or even the flight tickets we shouldn’t enjoy the “fruits of their labour” and get the big room (even though I was looking for places to stay and flights….) They even mentioned previous holidays we booked, saying for those holidays we also put no effort (which is also a lie cause once again I was also helping to look) and it wouldn’t be fair.
I think their reasoning is complete bullshit and they just want the largest room and thought of any excuse to try and explain why me and Gene shouldn’t stay there and it’s quite frustrating because honestly, if any of their names landed on the wheel, I would have GLADLY let them have the room as it was given through fair means.
We are all paying the same price for the tickets and the place so how are Anna and Bella more entitled to it than the rest???
You may have noticed how I have barely mentioned Jane, that is because throughout this whole situation, she did not say who she thought was right in the situation. She originally agreed to spin the wheel so Anna and Bella going against it should have rubbed her wrong as well but no she didn’t speak out. It makes it as if it me and Gene are “overacting” by not letting Anna and Bella just have the room when we just genuinely think what they are doing is not right and to be honest, quite ignorant. Why do we need to compromise? Should we compromise?

What do you guys think?

I think the room you're staying in is an incredibly minor thing to be fighting over. I don't see why it's a point of conflict to begin with. Isn't the more important part the fact that you're going on a nice holiday with your friends? Friends who you might not be able to go on another holiday with for a while?
Did they overreact by getting upset about it in the first place? Probably. But did there even need to be a wheel for it? I sincerely doubt it. It's literally just a bedroom. A few nights out of your whole lives of friendship? Who cares. They want the room, whatever. Just focus on enjoying yourselves.

Tldr; make up and compromise. This is causing your guys unnecessary stress and tension. I'm with Jane for not getting involved in a playground fight.

If they agreeded to spin the wheel then they shouldnt be mad about the outcome, I dont think you need to compromise
