I believe this manga handled the age gap kinda well. There was nothing 'sexual' about it, it focused purely on the concept of selfless love. I also appreciated that the other characters had realistic reactions to her age, and that they doublechecked his motives to ensure he had no ill intentions. but it wasn't perfect, in my opinion, he should have taken the initiative to speak with her parents and state his intentions formally from the start, rather than just doing so only after meeting them by chance. Falling in love with someone significantly older or younger is something that can happen in real life. We shouldn't condemn or ban all stories that explore this theme; personally, I don't mind these narratives as long as they are handled with the right approach and sensitivity
