I recommend the manhua 'To be or Not to be' they have the same historical enemies to lovers trope but more on the less comedic side :D It's really good plot wise too!!
Yeah I'd recommend reading danmei for a similar experience, manwha are rarely like this unfortunately. Especially not one based off a book.
Third time re reading it and it's amazing, I'm looking for a similar dynamic in other BLs but it's very difficult. This story is gold.
