I can point out the reason for all that. It's the imperialism. Old world countries were so inclusive that they were not just tolerant, they celebrated LGBTQIA people. Then came the British/ French/ Spanish/ Dutch/ Portuguese and just erased that whole cultures. That was a bigger genocide than the Nazi regime

They're also still doing it to the indigenous people of Australia, and every other corner of the earth they can get to. They'll never stop. Brown and queer people are the easiest victims of imperialism
