HIV originated from chimpanzee bushmeat, but between humans (at least through blood) you have to have infected blood/tissues directly infiltrate the blood stream (used needles, cut-to-cut transfer) bc i don’t think the virus can withstand the stomach/digestion (if the blood was sucked). tbh i think Hepatitis is more of a threat than HIV in this situation.
if anything, the one being sucked is most at risk of infection, bc the human mouth is fuckin nasty and is host to more pathogens.. they make sure to wash that bite and put some antibiotic ointment on it.

Ch 101: I know this is fiction but that’s just fucking nasty. To anyone 18+ reading…don’t mess around in blood. That’s how autoimmune disease (AIDS/HIV) can develop. Never mess with blood from another human… unless you’re a vampire. Then suck away!
