First of all, and out of spite—I just want Anna to have a man she'd entertain and who'd like her for HER (not because they were betrothed or shit to begin with, like truly just saw her and was attracted at her and not her physical features like edmund when they were younger).
She's too nice HAHA I can't imagine trusting a man who told me to wait for him for 2 yrs only to hear he's been engaged to someone else.
Regardless, I'm so sick and tired of that noble family and I'll never forgive Henry lol even if he grovels, that man is as bad as his family the moment he felt betrayed. Idc if he probably had plans laid out to protect Anna, it doesn't erase the fact that he threw BS and blamed her for everything that one moment in his "fit of anger". Also, Anette is much stronger than Anna because she knows what she wants, but I also don't understand how she went about with things because clearly (and she admitted it herself), she only wants Lloyd LOL she be selfish like that in that regard.
Edmund, Anette, and Henry could have let Anna in on it rather than keep their plans in secret; because the cost of their secrecy could hurt Anna too.
