Basically "Emi's Remilia" is the real Remilia. When it was Emi, she was acting as Remilia and was working towards a future where Remilia would end up being happy, while "Emi's Remilia" is Remilia continuing to act in the same way that Emi's version of Remilia was. So what Angel described of Remilia during his confession was the image that Remilia had created to maintain "Emi's Remilia". He actually has no knowledge of Remilia's true thoughts or personality because she does a really good job of controlling her tone and rephrasing things to continue being "Emi's Remilia". So technically Angel married Remilia, who is acting as "Emi's Remilia". And Remilia is overjoyed that Angel has fallen in love with "Emi's Remilia" because in a sense that was the same Emi she loves so much.
But at the same time "Emi's Remilia" is a probably more an ideal that is filled with love for the world (Emi). So "Emi's Remilia" won't disappear because at it's core it's Remilia's love for Emi. So long as Remilia retains her love for the world (Emi) and continues to strive for a world a kind person can live, Remilia will remain "Emi's Remilia". And considering that her daughter is the soul of Emi, she will remain Emi's Remilia. Like she isn't going to suddenly drop the facade now that her plans are done because she still wants to be the version of Remilia that Emi created while she was in her body.
I hope that made sense? It's pretty confusing because the story starts with Emi's love for the game version Remilia, which then turns into Remilia's love for Emi and the majority of the story follows Remilia acting as Emi's version of Remilia. Hope that helps (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
He fell in love with both, that's why she loved him back. She has been trying to emulate the goodness of emi but we both know she and emi's remilia are completely different people with completely different ways of approaching their goal. Nonetheless they love each other and look up to their counterpart trying to emulate their best parts (emi working hard to be perfect because that is the trait she loves from remi, and remi trying her best to be kind to the people around her). He loved remi, because in the end it is remi he actually interacts with, emi would never have tried to start a trading empire lmao. But he also saw and loved the parts of emi left behind in her. Does that make sense?
Okay so like did Angel marry Remilia or Emi’s remi? Bc once he began explaining the qualities of Remilia it seemed to be about what Emi’s Remi did. Same thing with Remilia, did she actually marry Angel as Remilia or as Emi’s Remi? bc as Angel explains, it shows that he recognized everything Emi’s remi did for Remilia to be happy in this life. So did Angel fall in love with the actual Remilia or the version of Remilia Emi had made?
Also what would happen to Emi’s Remi? Because Remilia had used that version of her as a facade in order to carry out the plan to bring peace for Emi once she wakes up. Would Emi’s Remi disappear in time and only Remilia will remain?
