And I gave the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe he's not used to being in the spotlight and receiving preferential treatment. But he reacts the exact same way 5 times after being in the same situation. Like no improvement, research adjusting to the environment - NOTHING. Being this clueless in front of your coworkers makes you look dumb.
He has, and that does make him let others walk over him too many times...but I'm not talking about that. I completely get loosing his confidence when he is constantly told he doesn't look good. But the issue I'm talking about is having basic knowledge in the industry, like being aware. In his POV, it's clear how unaware he is when his thoughts come out - and that's not the same thing

I get that he's a kind hearted and good natured guy...but why is he dumb and so naive? He's supposed to be a guy who has been in the industry for 10+ years. No matter whether he was ever given a big role, he was in this industry and was to close ML, a top actor. So why is he acting like a newbie who has no clue how the industry works and requires saving from ML all the time? And the thing is - I'm not expecting him to be super smart or anything, but genuinely how can he be soo clueless about an industry he has worked so long in that people in it have praised him for his acting and wished he had a face of star quality.
