there's a lot actually, you have blue protocol, maple story, albion online, black desert, ragnarok, some final fantasy, world of warcraft and a lot more, the genre of game is called mmo rpg (massive multiplayer online rpg), or just mmo, those are the game were you the player are in the same lobby at the same time

MMORPGs lately lack of the saucy drama this story has at the start (the guild being super private because of trolls and allegations, which escalates to ingame pvp beef), i don't play FFXIV but the xiv drama always escalates to twitter for the most fucked up foul reasons LMAO...
this story reminded me the most of a game i used to play, Nostale. But sadly, the game is extremely bastardized now, it's only a cash funnel of very nostalgic players from 2010
i think the only decent mmorpg around is ffxiv, never play a mobile mmorpg because they are atrocious (xept maybe hoyo games)
yeah, also sometimes in very difficult to interact cuz they seem to only speak between the famous/very known players
Idk why I got so invested in their game versions but it just seems so fun, anyone have recos that are like the game they're playing besides genshin, also what the specific genre its called
