lol Did we all forget that Anna was also willing to let Annette stay hidden if they didn’t find her? No hate to either but you know one life is better than the other. Also just like Anna didn’t know about Loyd, Annette probably didn’t know that Anna liked her Fiancé. Nobels being engaged at a young age is really common thing. They both had a hard life, Annette was abused and at a point was the main bread winner of the family. Not just that but you forget that the reason Anna can do a lot of chores and keep up is cause she uses magic for certain tasks like lifting buckets of water from the well. Annette on the other hand had healing magic but that was a good source of income, not a good help for anything else, you can imagine how hard her life was.
It sucks but it’s not crazy to want to live a better life and be with your love, both the girls were 14-16 when they made these decisions.
Its really sad to see Anna not getting the love from her real parents but that is wholeheartedly the parents fault. Both families are kinda shitty to treat the kids as assets.
I'm sorry but like i still don't like Annette. So your telling me she became a noble for her love. So she let Anna lose her love so she could gain hers. I get it's the fairy's fault however it's still sad the biological family love her the commoner family love her but for Anna she had to work hard for their affection. She just about gets along with her siblings and for some reason I can't forget when the commoner mother said she can't feel maternal towards her. Thats just sad.
I know it's more detailed and fleshed out than that but I just remember that at the moment. I'm reading for Anna.
