now I’m REALLY curious as to who hwajin and hwayoung’s biological parents are, especially their mother, because from that brief flashback in this chapter, the clothes she was wearing and the way she had her hair styled were definitely not of someone from the lower class/slums of the capital, she looked more like she belonged to the upper most class of the capital, and she had flowers in her hair which makes me wonder if she was also a nature type esper like hwajin. Plus in that part of the flashback, hwayoung was wearing very nice clothes that didn’t have any dirt on them and didn’t have any holes or patches like hwajin’s clothes, making me think that maybe they were originally born into the upper class but hwajin decided they should run away because their mother hated him (maybe he stole her powers as an esper while he was growing in utero and that’s why she hates him but seemingly doesn’t hate hwayoung), maybe their mother was a high ranking esper from the upper class and that’s where he gets his immense power from
