How do you get update notifications?

by waiting, but lately the notifications have been really delayed

You have to set it to "Now Reading"

You have to add comics to your "Is Reading" list. Right now, I see that you don't have anything in that area. Once you add comics to that area when they update you'll receive a notification.

You have to add the stories to either the "now reading" or "already read" list and check the box for subscribe to this manga. Usually it's already checked by default

You don't get notifications from stories added to your personal custom lists

Just to add, you only get update notification twice a day. Around 9am & 9pm GMT
