yeehyeon is a ‘diamond dust’ beta meaning he’s able to turn into an omega with sex with a golden alpha. liu becomes aware of this, but they still have sex, and he doesn’t tell yeehyeon about the information. eventually yeehyeon turns into an omega, which obviously causes an argument and rift between them, although they make up after a while. yeehyeon doesn’t have omega pheromones yet, esentially, they’re only triggered by liu as he’s the alpha he’s in a relationship with/having sex with. that’s why people kept confusing him for an omega/alpha, and why liu thought he was lying about not being an omega, as he’s able to become one
