Ok I don't really like this, and I skimmed through few chapters, but cmiiw, I don't think the emperor was killing innocent people guys. I don't think he was that bad. Ruthless? Yes. But corrupted or tyrant? I wouldn't say so (I mean it's kind of the author's fault for not giving us a satisfying back story of that revolution time period). If I try to fill in the dots: 1. He literally sent to a toturous camp by his stepmom (the previous empress), 2. Some of the characters literally said that the political situation nearing his revolution was already chaotic, 3. Some even praised him for bringing back stability even though it was through a ruthless way, but well, politics, 4. His opposite side is literally the aristrocratic people, which usually in these kind of manhwa settings, are the corrupted bad guys. Again they don't give us enough contexts for this.
I don't really like this manhwa, but I don't see the ML as a REALLY BAD character. Well obvy he was stalking and forcing her in the beginning, but really, I've seen worse. And even tho he forced her, his treatment of her was somewhat still acceptable.
