I was definitely a little iffy about this story in the beginning because the amount of fanservice was really overkill but I'm glad I stuck it out till the end.
I think once the story garnered an audience and the author decided to dial it down, the story just became way more interesting as the focus shifted more to building the world and community around gojo and marin. Stuff like seeing gojos craft in more detail, watching them make friends with other members of the community, and working on gojo’s social insecurities really made the story feel more lively and real.╰( ° ʖ ° )つ──☆*:・ﾟ
My only qualm is that I wanted the story to spend more time on them after they got together. I would’ve really enjoyed seeing more of their interactions with the community and how they managed a work/life balance with their cosplays. Idk if it’s just me but i also thought it would be cool to see gojo take some cosplay commissions after the whole haniel cosplay blew up. I know his goal was always to make hina dolls dolls but I really loved the costume designing aspect of this story and It would’ve been cool to see that in some extras or something. Even just another extra of him and marin making a cosplay as adults would be fun to readヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
