Everyone but the prince is redeemable I think. I just find it amusing that even Roger so easily believed she was evil and tried to hurt her and force marriage on her. But then we have the Duke who's just repeatedly trying to make her happy no matter who she chooses, knowing it won't be him that's chosen. I find that more appealing then her nonsense forced drama w Roger lol

Seriously I don't get why people are so "Team Roger" and sooo much angry after the Duke. Roger had his share of "toxic thought and action" meanwhile the Duke is kind of a victim in here!
At first he didn't want anything to do with her, she insisted
She use his feeling to spend a night with him, she didn't care it would hurt him
She manipulated him multiple time, took his money for gamble and all
Yes the guy is guilty of believing he had a chance but she did make him believe he had to use him!
In the end he think she is in danger when she's with Roger get tangle with the Prince in the process because at first he didn't want the Prince to find her either

I have similar opinion but a little difference. Whatever misunderstanding nonsense Roger has, Etienne is at its root. And after misunderstanding solved, both Roger and Duke always wished for Crocetta’s happiness. So while Roger and Duke have their toxic moments and hurts Crocetta in their ignorance, they’re much better options than Etienne. After cabin arc, I cheer for Roger slightly more. After all toxic moments that make Crocetta has empty hollow eyes and stopped smiling, in cabin Roger somehow made her laugh again. Real laugh. So whoever ends up with her or even if she ends up with no one, I hope she can live in peace and can smile sincerely.
Don't get me wrong, I actually want her to be with whoever she wants, not just who I personally would choose! She chose to lie to Roger for 'his' sake and that messed A LOT up. She lied to protect him from Etienne mostly, but as you said, she's also in survival mode and she does get a pass for that. (Also I kinda ship the Duke w that poor blondie guy who was also from the real world land seems to crush on him lol)
Exactly, the Duke got a really bad deal and was used by her when she was desperate for any way to escape a miserable ending. It's like a Greek tragedy where they receive an oracle of death, but the catch is that trying to avoid that death is what causes it.
I totaly agree with your point of view I also wish for her to be happy. Personaly I am not angry if she end up with Roger, she have fall for him at first and it would be "the good ending" with the story.
I just don't get why that amount of hate toward the Duke by everyone I'm happy if I'm not alone to see that he is not at the same level as the Prince everytime I'm in the comment section I'm like but leave that poor man alone XD if anything I pity him XD

This story is DRAGGING its ass. I also find it funny that people cheer for Roger when he also tried to marry her by force with the intention of making her life miserable because of the killing his mother misunderstanding. He also tried to destroy the only item capable of removing her charm right in front of her to hurt her. Only circumstance kept him from being 100% as bad as the other two lol idk, I wish she had a better option, but yay Roger ig. I'm the odd man out who actually likes the pathetic dark haired duke. My man got to tap that once and has been a side simp the rest the time.
