uh this is abuse

halfflowers April 24, 2026 4:29 am

i dont know how people arent getting it. this is emotional abuse and the uke is the victim. he literally had all his choices taken away from him, he is isolated from everyone but the seme, the only thing he CAN control is his body and reactions. the seme found himself obsessed with the uke but the uke did nothing wrong, he just showed brotherly affection. the seme's interest grew unchecked by the parents because of poor parenting. i see other topics saying how it's the uke's fault but i fail to see how the uke has ANY choice in this situation at all

Nope. The uke seduced him. The uke actually holds the cards though you’re in that the seme is obsessed. So if the uke runs, the seme will follow

Currently reading this. But as that one or other commenters said "read the end note of author (?) in chapter 5" I think that's why they said it is uke's fault or is the mastermind of why seme's like that

i read that through but the note didnt say if it was from the Author or from the Translator. and since none of the Other translators have that note, i doubt the origins

I get completely what you said but wow, just finished reading this and I feel this is toxic from both ends, possessiveness from seme and manipulation from the uke, I don't even know how to feel it was just a read, too short to understand fully and idek (⊙…⊙ )

Chp 4 shows that Uke kissed Seme, that's alone proved that Uke seduced Seme first

60% of Korean yaoi seems to be Psychological Dark/Red Flag, as is every single other Korean historic yaoi I've read.

if i had the innocence of this to think kissing equals seduction i would not enjoy half the stuff i read now

sampling bias. almost all series recommended on social media platforms tend to be red flag. theres a trend even on booktok of liking red flag men, which extends to yaoi readers. even if there are good series reccomended on social media, the talk about the red flag (both positively and negatively) are more frequent and louder than the green flag series

But i mean if you put it into perspective it makes pretty valid points which don't seem to have any alternative explanations

it's no innocence per say, i mean considering the seme's childhood situation, you can't tell me that the uke was completely oblivious to the seme's position considering the fact that he acknowledged the fact that the seme would get beaten/was hopeless
