This is why I like "I became the Male Lead's adopted daughter". FL does act like a child sometimes (mostly abusing the fact that she is one and can get away after causing trouble) but she's also mature for her age and acts like it — especially when it comes to serious matters.
Yeah it is annoying but some would argue that it's because they're in the body of a literal child. A child's brain would think childish thoughts. It's not fully developed as an adult's..Blah blah blah..
Buttt that's not the point right? We're not talking about their emotional state but logical. It's fine to cry sometimes if you can't control it but that doesn't mean you should stop thinking like an adult altogether. Maybe they would've acted the same way whether they were in an adult's body or a child's. Their adult mentality is the same as that of a child's.
That's why i like baby mc's that are smart and scheming. Like "I'll be the patriarch in this life" and "The baby raising a villain".
Is it just me or does anybody else cringe when those baby mc's(like the ones who went back to the past)

Almost always cry/whine when theres a misunderstanding?
Like uh imagine a scene where the kid mc overhears something from the door like "yes we shoukd get rid of her" runs away
And immediately assumes its her and has a whole sad scene about it, like girl communicate, act like your mental

Maybe im just blabbering nonsense but does anybody get weirded out by this
Im strictly reffering to mc who aas originally an adult a full grown adult who either reincarnates into a body of a child
Or an adult who goes back to the time they were a kid
I love the baby mc genre, dont get me wrong im all in on that, but imagine a 24+ish adult reincarnates as a child, remembers past life clearly , should be an adult but acts like a kid , does their mental state when they were old not stick with them?
