Well tbf there’s a lot of predators In the world and especially common in Japan unfortunately
But also yeah I get where you’re coming from like they could add something else other than rape. It just comes of kinda fetishy
It feels like we’re reading this authors barely disguised fetish with some barely passable romance sprinkled in, like wdym they almost kissed and it took haruki being literally DRUGGED for it to happen also HOW MANY OF THESE ADULTS ARE GONNA BE SECRETLY PREDATORS ENOUGH ALREADY. I still love the artstyle and concept but im starting to become uncomfortable with the amount of predators in this story (lwk glad they meet terrible fates tho that at least is nice)
