I am chill :c I was just clarifying cause I like to make the distinction. It's always disappointing when you start reading something good only to either get a rushed ending or find out that the story wasn't finished </3

Actually, I don't even know why I gotta be told to chill. You were the one that was correcting the original comment that correctly stated the story was cancelled

Chill dude, it's completed doesn't matter whether it wasn't cancelled, if someone decides to pick it up even then this will be considered completed, stuff like this has been going since last 11 years since I'm reading mangas, like anime are considered completed not cancelled even if the manga is going on or has more volumes

Naw dude I just think talking to you is like talking to a wall. You correct people that arent wrong, and then you double down on your correction. According to you, "cancelled" doesnt exist and only completed does. So theres no difference between reading something that's completed as it should have been vs something that was cancelled and therefore never reached its end. You push your perspective onto other people instead of letting them call stories that have been cancelled "cancelled". And if someone tells you different, you just get defensive and tell them to chill even when they aren't upset or angry at you. It's dismisisve and undermining. It's something plenty of people do. It's not a positive personality trait to have, but ultimately it's your issue to deal with.

People will continue to call things that were cancelled "cancelled" as opposed to "completed" because it helps others make an informed choice of what they're reading, even if you seem to be against that.

I have my opinion also on replying with a "you can't refute a good point", cause that has about the same effect as a "I win this conversation". But I'm not gonna get into that. It's telling when you call other people kids, just like children would. Have yet to see a mature adult do that.

Not that I think you care, but I can assure you I am chill rn. It's morning and I suffer from hypotension, so I can't be anything but lethargic with chills rn.

Even shounen jump has been cancelling unpopular manga since 1968. Netflix cancels TV series that don't meet viewership expectations despite having a fanbase. Some anime get cancelled due to controversy or budget issues. The term 'cancelled' has been around longer than you've been reading manga.

If you get off your high horse, you might actually accept the completely common fact that some unpopular manhwas do get canceled, instead of getting so bothered that you have to bark "iT's CoMpLeTeD" in the first place. Unlike the other person who replied, i'm not being chill about this, but i'm also not going to bother reading whatever you write back because talking to you is like talking to a brick wall.

Kid, who thinks she just did something, " yona of the down" got completed as anime but actually it was cancelled for season 2 , so it has been considered completed for past 20 years, now it has season 2 coming up , so would you say its season or cancelled show is resuming ? Have some brain child! The fact that you are replying on some other peoples means you have enough time to check your knowledge! Now with that ,good luck to you abysmal degenerate

The anime for Akatsuki no Yona wasn't cancelled though. It was a promotional anime that was finished as intended. In the community we wouldn't normally call that "completed" or "cancelled". It's just an anime that was finished and that intentionally does not cover the entire storyline (i.e. it's incomplete). And now, with the upcoming 2nd season, it's a promotional anime that is being continued.

It's common practice in shoujo anime to only release one season of an ongoing series for promotional reasons (Gakuen Alice, OHSHC, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Special A, Skip Beat, etc). These are sometimes called "promotional anime". The original anime of Akatsuki no Yona was released as a promotion of the manga. There were no plans to continue at the time, and they couldn't continue because the manga just wasn't at a point where they could keep releasing seasons.

Cancelling implies terminating something prematurely when there was intention or planning or real potential for more, and it didn't ultimately manifest because of $ reasons (whether it be budget or viewership). Given that the Akastuki no Yona anime was originally planned to be a 1-season promotional anime, it wouldn't be correct to say it was cancelled. It finished as it was originally planned and intended. The reason it's getting a new anime season is because the production company decided it would be cool to pick the anime back up now that the source material is completed. That happens sometimes even with anime that isn't intended to be promotional (Bleach, FMA, Blue Exorcist, Black Butler). That there is interest to continue it now does not mean that it was originally cancelled. Cause again, the original plan was to only have 1 season. It was a finished anime that had an intentionally incomplete storyline.

In contrast, this story did get cancelled. There was intent to continue and it would've continued on if they didn't can it due to unfavorable performance. It's like how Netflix shows get cancelled by Netflix. The creators of the shows had plans for more. They already had story boards for what would come next. But Netflix ultimately told them no. It's the difference between finishing a project in it's intended deadline vs having a project terminated before the deadline.

Overall, I think maybe your definition of what "cancelled" means is different from how it is used in the anime/manga community. You don't have to take my word for it though. You can ask other people in the community.

I was wondering why the reply was so long, Welcome Back ! Apologise I didn't read it whole (busy life) , but I am sure whatever you have said is Good. That said like last time, I hope you get a life this time and do something with it, instead of arguing with a stranger in long para. Good luck to you again child
