In the book it says it's just Taeuis perception of Xinlu that lets him look either cute and innocent or suddenly more mature. For everyone else there is no change in Xinlu...
Thanks for the explanation but now it makes me wonder which image of him is accurate or are neither of them accurate and it's some in between? Like his perception of him can't be that warped that he imagine a completely different height difference between them?
This would have been more comprehendible if they drew Xinlu differently when viewing him in different characters' POV.
I thought they said no one was a minor, can someone please explain? I actually enjoyed the inverse height difference, why did they take this away from me?
Like I seriously didn't recognise him at first, what the heck?
