yeah, it's really a trend. i guess some people thinks that being raised by a mother alone is pitiful (the mother should protect herself and her child) but by a father, it's a shield of protection (because men are freer).
Still, the mothers are all dead but the fl's mother is a mystery. WTF ? And she, herself, dont even ask (her uncles knew her). In all her life, this is the first time that she learn a thing or two.
Interesting take, I always thought it’s because if the mother is alive, nothing bad would happen to the child, but when they are left just with the father, tragedy is inevitable, haha

I think she never really asks much about her mom because she was an orphan in Korea. so like when she got reincarnated into that world she came into terms with having no mother already, but did hold some hope in having a father in that world. Right now were seeing her 4th life and she’s mentioned her mom already and that she did pry before in her past life but found nothing so maybe she thought she wouldn’t find out anymore from what she already knows.
