Help find pls

Okay so I remember that it was a manhwa thriller/mystery type.. the mc came to this weird village type area and then he decides to live in one of the houses or smth.. I remember all the villagers being weird or creepy esp the village head ig? And he digged up some pot near the place he stays/ on the plot of another villagers house and that was related to some curse or idk I think it has fingers? Not sure ik this is pretty vague but pls help if u cann
