Were they teleporting?? That was a wee bit vonfusing bit i th8nk it really added to the element of darkness. Ppl complaining abt the lack of romance and morality, i think thats the point of the story?? Like ur not apose to think any of this is okay cuz theyre not okay.
Mc is js like the vampires, except he understands the concept of life being fleeting, but he doesnt develop the same connection as humans. Yeah he didnt want humans to die but that wasn't empathy, that was sympathy. Because he wants to be the justice his father wanted him to be. I think the only person he actually mourned was his father, because his father represented his meaning to live. So that vampire killing the dad means he didnt have a reason anymore, it wasnt like he was sad he died more like he wanted his reason to come back....am i making sense?? Thats why the life came back to his eyes when the person who killed his reason to live is dead.
So in the end everyone is crazy, no one is okay, and thats the beauty of the story.
