For real! It felt exceptionally bittersweet and for a yaoi with a pretty cute plot oddly very real. I think people see what they're told happened and look no further, like it's very obviously not about cheating?? Very strange behavior but what can I expect from the people who hate when a character even talks to another person romantically, they see red when they get a whiff of a character with a past
Say it a little louder for the people in the back Queen! This story legit made me so emotional especially at the end— Uke suffered ALOT and has so much trauma because of everything that he ever experienced in his (probably) not even 18 years of life. I was ready to read comments talking about how they felt bad for uke and everything but was then caught off guard for bullshits saying they're mad at uke for "helping" his brother's boyfriend cheat... People in the comment section made me lose hope for our society until i saw your comment<3
Seriously, reading the comment section disgusted me...like how do they not see the grooming of a middle schooler and instead blame him. They were blaming the child victim, its basically saying the rape had consent because there was no protest. Disgusting... both the uke's family and the people blaming the uke.

He was groomed???? Very obviously a kid as well, middle school aged people are CHILDREN. He didn't help his brothers boyfriend cheat, he was groomed by an older man and was raped/molested and had it happen to him again. You guys really have no empathy or critical thinking skills. The whole part about him "suddenly" not liking it was not just bc he was in love, it was to show he never liked how he was treated and didn't have the words for it Until someone who actually cared about him showed him it wasn't right to be treated that way.
The bad guy is the fucking rapist, you guys just hate victims
