Iirc this is in the fourth novel. I'm hazy on whether it was the third or fourth, but I'm pretty sure fourth. Second novel ended with her still at the city before she snuck into the campaign so the timing feels right for this to be in the fourth novel.

BUT I highly recommend reading all the novels from the beginning instead of jumping to where the webcomic has left off. It's worth it. You can get a better understanding of some things that the webcomic didn't explain as well.
