Yep, actions make the man but so does the environment they are raised in which is why its normal to sympathize.
Yea but regardless of environment it is not a free pass to do horrible things, so I think sympathy gets to a point. Unless he was forced to or something
This author is really good at brainwashing to think I’d ever empathise for psycho King. But yeah given his past all his behavior make sense (not justified ) and even now he’s quite a pitiful fellow ( I kinda understand the general). I’m still wondering if a happy ending is possible since he kinda killed his lover’s wife and whole family (only sparing the daughter for some reason)…the day his lover discovers it… everything might fall apart. On top of that he has a wise cunning brother probably plotting against him. If this has a happy ending then the author deserves an Oscar lol.
